Battery terminal corrosion may block electrical flow. Cleaning the terminals with specific petroleum gel or a specialist battery terminal cleaner is recommended. Gently we remove any rust with a wire brush.
We check that the battery connections are securely attached to the terminals. Loose connections can cause electrical faulty voltage flow and make it hard to start your car.
In certain case we open the lids on usual lead-acid batteries and check the electrolyte levels. If required, we add distilled water to maintain the appropriate levels, and we will be careful not to overfill. (not done on maintenance free batteries)
Frequent short travels can place additional strain on your battery because it may not have enough time to fully recharge. Take longer drives on some occasions to allow your battery to recharge
To reduce battery depletion, turn off all electrical accessories such as as lights, radio, air conditioner and Plugins, when your engine is not running.
